About Joe Doucette

Joe Doucette is an administrator at MassArt and an integral part of the development team for Art New England. He is a graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, holds a B.F.A. from Tufts University and an M.Ed. from UMass Boston. While at the SFMA, Joe was a 5th year traveling scholarship winner which culminated in a show at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. About Nancy McCarthy

Nancy McCarthy has managed the Art New England Program since 2001 when it became a part of MassArt. She is a Boston based painter who works both from imagination and observation. She has served as a mentor in MassArt’s low residency MFA Program and has taught painting, drawing and color courses at Massart since 2006. Exhibitions include Fitchburg State University, Castle Hill Center for the Arts, Manifest Drawing and Painting Center, Cincinnati, OH; Simmons College, Boston; Gutman Library, Harvard University, Cambridge; among others. Awards include: a 2014 residency at the Inside Outside Museum, Beijing, China 2009 St. Botolph Foundation Award, Artist’s Grant, Vermont Studio Center and a Ragdale Foundation Fellowship. nancymccarthypainting.com  nmccarthy@massart.edu, 617-879-7175
